CORE, or CoOperative Resource Exchange, provides the opportunity for the student staff (work-study and non-work-study) of the resource centers to keep each other up-to-date on what the other centers are doing through regularly schedule dinner meetings. An online forum additionally allows students to network outside of dinners.
The ultimate goals for CORE are:
-to share information about the programs and events that each center is planning
-to avoid programming overlap
-to create ideas for coallaborations and new programming
-discuss difficulties in program planing in order to problem solve
-to foster a community of like-minded students dedicated in being resources for their peers
It is important that at least one student is present to represent each center.
