Hours
The Christian Association house is a great place to study, hang out, or practice piano. Generally, we are open Mon-Fri from 10am-5pm, but we are often here for special events and meetings outside the typical office hours. We even extend our hours intentionally for students during finals and are available as a meeting spot for various groups and organizations throughout the semester.
Before visiting, we encourage you to call 215-746-6350 to make sure that a staff person will be present to let you in.
Reserving Space
We are proud to offer our facilities as a ministry for other organizations who are looking to host meetings and events that further our mission of faith development, peace and social justice. To reserve space, please call 215-746-6350 or email upennca (at) dolphin.upenn (dot) edu at least seven days in advance to ensure availability.
Donation
We are happy to offer the CA house as a meeting and event space for faith-based, progressive organizations and student groups. In order to maintain upkeep on the house and to cover utility costs and supplies used, we respectfully request a donation. These donations will also be used to purchase new furniture and supplies that will make the house an even better space for everyone. All donations are tax-deductible and can be made by check payable to the "Christian Association" or via PayPal under the donation section of this website.
Heating and Cooling
The thermostat is programmed for heat or cooling Mon-Fri from 9am-5pm. At other times you can follow the directions on the thermostat: press “temporarily occupied” at the start of your program, and press “run program” at the end of your program.
Wireless Internet
Unfortunately, the CA House only has sporadic access to wireless internet.
Beverages
The small refrigerator in the dining room on the first floor is stocked with beverages and coffee. Hot and cold filtered water are in the kitchen.
Recycling
We recycle paper, glass, aluminum, and plastic (#1 & #2 only). Please place in blue containers.
Keys and Locking
When you leave, please lock both locks on the front door. Check also that the dead bolt is engaged on the parking lot door. If you do not need the key, please put it in an envelope and drop it in the mail slot.
