The Forum provides:

Leadership training—learn local campus ministry leadership skills; communicate to the denomination the needs and wants of students; gain a better understanding of individual skills and talents an how to lead in your local community

Networking—connect with other students from around the country and world; talk with participants about exciting new ministries for students; find new ideas to share in your local community

Immersion Field Trips, Friday 9am-4pm

The immersion field trips provide students with the chance to participate in a unique experience that will focus on a particular topic. Groups will learn about complex social and economic issues raised in the UM Social Principles by visiting different sites, talking with people from Washington, D.C., who work regularly on each issue, and having a chance for small groups and individual reflection based on the immersion experience.
