Our Vision
The Christian Association is not a church. Rather, we are a nonprofit organization that advocates for social justice through the lens of faith.
We are not trying to save your soul. We do not proselytize, and we welcome people of all faiths or none to participate in our programs.
We are not a part of the University. Rather, we are a private entity just as Hillel and the Newman Center are. We work collegially through the Chaplain’s office on the Interfaith Council to create a climate at Penn that will encourage students’ faith development and expand our understandings of religion and its role in our lives.
